Simpliciti Task Lock Setup

Simpliciti Task Lock provides complete PC lockdown simply by navigating to one of our locked browser workspaces via a link on a web page. The PC /user is then locked down to only the desired web page(s), until released.

No other applications can be accessed or browsing can occur on the PC until the release or exit of the workspace occurs

This creates an ideal environment for PC's to be used in student or employee testing or training environments.

Demo setup:

• Step 1 : This function installs the Lockdown runtime engine on the Client system. If you have not previously installed the Lockdown Engine you can do it now by clicking the link below, then select open and install the application.

One time lock down install

• Step 2 : The link below opens the lockdown workspace located on the server. This workspace is configured by a setting screen , the setting screen allows the setting of a main web page and web restrictions. The web address bar is optional. It this example the address is turned off, limiting navigation to the main web pages options only.

Caution !! Once this is launched it will lock down your system. Therefore multiple exit points have been built in this example. You can exit by typing ALT-f4 and the user "admin" and password "demo", or by selecting the logoff button in the workspace. The PC /user is then locked down to only the desired web page(s), until released.

Additionally A link and sample exit page has been created which could be used once the testing, exam or training is completed.
